I discovered something interesting during my research that I thought might be helpful to others. I was on the Allen County Public Library's website today looking for a way to contact a particular librarian and discovered that they have an "Ask a Librarian" link on the homepage. The link takes you to a page that allows you to fill out a form with a question or request for a librarian. They promise to answer your question within 48 hours and will help you with locating materials and websites to assist you with your research. You can even provide your library card number and preferred pickup location if you choose so that relevant materials can be sent to you. I thought this was a cool service and submitted a question. We'll see what I get back, but in the meantime here is the link to the page if anyone else wants to use it.
