OK, so I decided that for my first contribution I would find some information on blogging. I don't know how many others in class have little to no blogging experience, but I know that I am completely new to it. So, I did some looking and found a website by Amy D. Wohl that has a page devoted to the subject of blogging and the many different uses of blogs. She gives a good overview of the subject and then provides a link to a service called DeepBlog which allows users to view examples of many different types of blogs including those used for professional purposes. I thought looking at the blogs created by others in many different areas might spark ideas and help people get started on their own blogs.
